What decides the value of an old coin
For common investment coins, the price is mostly based on metal content. For numismatic coins, the value can be much higher because collectors look at rarity, condition, mintage and historical demand.
Gold and silver coins
We buy gold coins, silver coins, ducats, commemorative issues and full collections. For gold coins, purity and weight are checked first. For rare coins, we also assess collector value.
Condition matters
Scratches, cleaning, edge damage or heavy wear can lower the collector premium. Original packaging, certificates and complete sets can help with valuation.
Bring single coins or a collection
You can bring one coin or a full collection to our Prague 1 shop. For larger collections, we recommend calling ahead so we can reserve enough time.
