1. Purity
Purity tells us how much pure gold is in the alloy. A 14k item marked 585 contains 58.5% gold. An 18k item marked 750 contains 75% gold.
2. Weight
The item is weighed precisely. For jewellery with stones or non-gold parts, the final metal weight can differ from the gross item weight.
3. Market price
Gold is traded globally and the price changes. We use the current market situation when calculating the offer.
4. Item character
Antique, branded or artistic jewellery can be worth more than metal value. Coins may also include a collector premium.
